A New Era Begins: Welcome to Scaada Stadium

A New Era Begins: Welcome to Scaada Stadium

The Geelong West Giants are incredibly proud to announce a landmark moment in our club’s history — the official naming of our home ground as Scaada Stadium.

Through an exciting new partnership with Scaada, our home at West Oval enters a new chapter — one built on shared values, strong community foundations, and a vision for a sustainable future.

This is far more than a naming rights agreement.

This partnership represents a genuine alignment between two organisations that are deeply committed to making a positive, lasting impact. Scaada are industry leaders in environmental management, occupational hygiene, and project management, working with organisations across Australia to deliver practical and sustainable solutions.

With their head office based right here in Geelong, Scaada’s investment into our club speaks volumes — not just about who they are, but about the direction the Geelong West Giants are heading.

A Powerful Endorsement of Our Future

Geelong West Giants Vice Chair Ben Rowe described the partnership as a defining moment for the club.

“To welcome Scaada as our Ground Naming Rights Partner is a significant moment for our club. This is a partnership built on shared values — community, growth, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Having a respected, locally based company like Scaada invest in our club speaks volumes about the direction we’re heading.”

That direction is clear — building a strong, inclusive, and thriving club both on and off the field.

A Shared Passion for Community

Scaada’s enthusiasm for the partnership is equally strong.

“We are proud to partner with the Geelong West Giants, a club that plays such an important role in bringing people together and building a strong, connected community. Supporting local sport is something we are passionate about, and we’re excited to see Scaada Stadium become a hub for community activity, development, and success.”

This shared belief in the power of local sport and community connection sits at the heart of everything we do.

Round 1 2026

This weekend marks the first official games played at Scaada Stadium, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our community.

Saturday 11 April – GDFL vs Bell Post Hill

Sunday 12 April – GFL vs Leopold

The introduction of Scaada Stadium reinforces our long-term commitment to growth, sustainability, and creating an environment where players, families, and supporters can thrive.

From grassroots juniors to senior competition, from volunteers to supporters — this is a moment for the entire Giants community.
