About Our Team
The Geelong West Giants are proud to lead the way in inclusive sport, providing opportunities for players of all abilities to experience the excitement, connection, and community of netball. Our All Abilities Netball program is built on respect, accessibility, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to belong.
Our All Abilities Netball team competes on Tuesday nights at the Kardinia Park Netball Courts, as part of the AFL Barwon All Abilities Netball Competition.
We also offer weekly training sessions at the West Oval Netball Courts with training days and times to be confirmed prior to the next season. We currently have a full squad of 12 players for the 2025 summer season, creating a close, supportive, and empowering team environment where every player can thrive.
Why the Giants lead in inclusion
The Geelong West Giants are recognised as leaders in inclusive community sport. Our club culture is built on welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Through partnerships with AFL Barwon, Leisure Networks and community organisations, we continue to remove barriers and create meaningful sporting pathways for every participant.
From accessible training environments to club-wide initiatives celebrating diversity, the Giants proudly champion equality, belonging, and opportunities for all.
