Paul Taylor Volunteer Award

Paul Taylor was a tireless Club volunteer for the Junior Football program. In January 2012 Paul passed away and we will forever miss him.  He was a friend to many, a kind and gentle person who was a committed volunteer in our Junior football section. The Paul Taylor Volunteer Award  is an honour to the recipient as Paul Taylor was a great person who showed loyalty, passion and commitment. He gave a lot to the community especially to this club and he epitomised the self-less kind of person clubs rely on. Originally this award was only in the Junior Football section but in 2017 when we became the Geelong West Giants it was broadened to include Junior Netball. Each year, we award the Paul Taylor Award to someone who goes above and beyond volunteering in the Junior Program.
